DESCRIPTION Straight-leg tailored trouser in black frayed jacquard. Featuring LABRUM’s monogram cowrie shell pattern. High-waisted. Waistband with belt loops featuring hooks and bars for improved fit. Zip fly. Four-pocket styling. The LABRUM monogram is a modern interpretation of the cowrie shell, a historic symbol of wealth, protection and exchange across West Africa. Abstracted into a refined visual code, it becomes a subtle signature across our garments, connecting heritage with contemporary design. Jacquard technique unlike prints allows to have an exceptional dimension to the fabric technique. The cut yarns reinforce this aspect as they enable transparency/sheerness bellow the pattern. They are made mechanically thanks to a machine that cuts the floating yarns before sucking them and shave them to the requested length.
