About the studio
Founded in 2013 by Jonathan Coffie, Kelly Foli, Winfred Mensah and Richard Kweku Ormano, Free The Youth began on the streets of the Ghanaian harbour town of Tema and is now based in Accra. It started by showcasing Ghanaian street style on social media and has grown into a fashion brand, a creative agency and an NGO, all aimed at an art-based, youth-oriented movement for creative freedom and community development.
