SIKA.

Founded in 2005 by creative director Phyllis Taylor, SIKA designs its womenswear in London and has it handmade in Ghana by its own garment production team, with a commitment to fair wages and local employment. The label is named after Taylor's mother, and the word comes from the Akan of Ghana, meaning gold. Taylor and her in-house print team create original prints that draw on the colours, shapes and significance of Ghanaian textiles.
