Born in London to a Jamaican father and an English mother, Grace Wales Bonner launched her London-based label in 2014 after graduating from Central Saint Martins. It began in menswear before its tailoring expanded into womenswear, and it describes its work as cultural luxury that infuses European heritage with an Afro Atlantic spirit, informed by broad cultural research. The label has collaborated with adidas Originals, Anderson & Sheppard and Dior.
